We spent years poring over the classics, taking notes of its settings and moods, visiting places and milieus that inspired us to develop exquisite fragrances that capture the characters and era of its novels.

Each one of our candles blend the vibrant harmony of its designs with the graceful balance of subtle notes to leave a memorable imprint of a richly imagined past.

 

NATURAL WAX CANDLES

We source our natural coconut wax locally to keep our carbon footprint low.

The wax is cleaner burning than other waxes and contains no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants which means it's less likely to trigger allergies. We use all-natural cotton wicks for the same reason.

Coconut wax releases scent easier than soy candles to give a richer fragrance throw and evokes a delightful, subtle aroma even when not lit.

EVERY CANDLE HAND POURED

Our candles are hand poured in small batches by a team of candle pourers in the traditional way.

Hand-crafted with natural wax, eco-friendly wicks and infused with a premium blend of fragrances, each candle is an individual object of art in its own right.

By making everything in small quantities, we can ensure that each candle match our exacting standards - and yours, too.

CANDLE CARE

The first time you light your candle, we'd advise you keep it lit for at least 3 hours so that you get a good even burn.

Before you light it again, always trim the candle's wick to around 1/4 inch (3mm).

We'd also recommend burning your candle for 3-4 hours at a time. Don't forget to protect the surface the candle sits on.

And never leave a burning candle unattended.
